That’s right, it’s all about Flash.
After many years, Adobe is finally beginning to part ways with Flash. In an announcement recently, the company has acknowledged that content creators need to transition away from using Flash and develop with more current web standards (such as HTML 5). In the meantime, the application will renamed from Flash Professional CC to Animate CC. For more information, check out this article from Verge.
In computer news, speculation suggests that solid-state drives (SSD) or “flash drives” are becoming much more cost-effective. In fact, the industry is predicting by 2017 SSD drives will cost almost the same as traditional disk drives. According to an article by ComputerWorld:
“SSD’s will be in more than 25% of new laptops this year, more than 40% by 2017. The prices of mainstream consumer SSDs have fallen dramatically every year over the past three, and by 2017 they are expected to be within 11 cents of the per-gigabyte price of hard disk drives (HDDs).”
Last night and tonight was a two-part crossover event with The Flash and Arrow on The CW Network. *SPOILER* The episodes introduce two new characters, Hawkman & Hawkgirl; a new villan, Vandal Savage; and a big surprise from Oliver Queen’s ex-girlfriend.
